We work 24 hours for contract holders in every sector. Be it chiller and freezer rooms, ice machines, kitchen refrigeration and office air conditioning. It’s hugely important to the customer ,and for contract holders, we offer same day, usually within four hours and quick response. We asset tag all equipment when required for easy identification and to help record the full service history moving forward.

Service

Universal Cooling offer 24 hour call out 365 days a year. Our engineers are fully versed in all aspects of the refrigeration and air conditioning industry and are up to date on all the latest training courses for all the new technology. We are proud that all our Directors and senior management are also fully versed and are “ex engineers”. We have a wealth of experience stretching back decades. Our management offers unrivalled back up to engineers on the front line who are second to none. The service management team have been with the company for many years, the administration of this department is excellent. We pride ourselves on having a very low staff turnover. With this we have great continuity for our loyal customer base.

We operate Jobflow service software, we can upload a callout in real-time to the engineer’s PDA device therefore cutting out downtime for the engineer. This offers electronic service reports the instant a job is completed for the customer and for the office to follow up with a further quotation, if required. All in all, the best in efficiency for Universal and the client. This service allows the client to call up any history on any work carried out by us on site and also per piece of equipment.

Maintenance

Our maintenance team offers unparalleled service levels. We carry out preventative maintenance contracts bespoke to every customers’ needs. It’s imperative this is done correctly and regularly to avoid breakdowns. The maintenance visits serve several purposes. The systems need to be kept clean and efficient, thus lowering energy usage running costs. It also eradicates the need for nuisance breakdowns and call outs during peak demand. Nuisance callouts and lack of efficiency cost far more money than a preventative maintenance plan.

Full Cover Maintenance Contract

  • Two service visits by one of our qualified engineers
  • Labour will not be charged if called out between maintenance visits
  • Parts will be chargeable (unless under warranty)
  • Fully detailed maintenance check list and report. (One copy will be emailed / handed over)
  • Same day response when called out to a fault (usually within 4 hours)
  • 24 hours and 365 a year service
  • 7 years parts and labour warranty available on new equipment

Service Visit & Pay-as-You Go Call Outs Maintenance Contract

  • Two service visits by a qualified engineer
  • Labour will be charged if called out between maintenance visits
  • Parts will be chargeable (unless under warranty)
  • Fully detailed maintenance check list and report. (One copy will be emailed / handed over)
  • Same day response when called out to a fault
  • 24 hours and 365 a year service
  • 7 years parts and labour warranty available on new equipment
  • Subsequent call outs and travel time will be charged at the current rates. Out of hours rates apply for work before 8.30am and after 5pm also extra rates apply for Saturday and Sunday
